Obituary of Olivia Spruce Dunn
Olivia Dunn, 51, of Milford passed away Saturday June 22, 2024 after a long battle with cancer. Her will to survive was strong and she endured a lot to stay with her family and watch her grandson grow.
Olivia was born in Bangor to parents Bonnet McCaffrey and Thomas Dunn. She lived her young life in Bradley and graduated from Old Town High School in 1991. She attended University of Maine Augusta in Bangor and studied Social Work. Olivia had two daughters, Ashley and Natasha, and was the proud grandmother to grandson Theo who was the source of much happiness in her final years.
Olivia was well known for her love of animals especially dogs. She would not only love and care for her dogs but would also adopt unwanted pets of others. She couldn’t say no to any dog as she loved them all. Olivia enjoyed crafts and made a lot of jewelry. She liked experimenting with hair and makeup with her daughters even creating makeup as Christmas gifts one year. Olivia spent a lot of time in her younger years with her Grammy Red, who was like a second mother to her, doing crafts, cooking, and spending time together.
Olivia is survived by her parents Bonnet McCaffrey and partner Calvin Shain of Baileyville and Thomas Dunn and partner Sandra Lyons of Milford; grandmother Eleanor McCaffrey of Veazie; daughters Ashley Rowlett of Brewer, and Natasha Rowlett of Milford; grandson Theodore Babin; sisters Kelly Dunn of Milford and Casey Cote and her husband Stephen Cote of Bradley; stepbrother Ian Korenek of Orlando and nephews Derek Hunter of Milford and Owen and Samuel Cote of Bradley. She also has many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Olivia is sadly missed by her family and will always be in our hearts.
