From Ken Deal
So sad to see an old friend go. My condolences to all of his family. In May 1987 Chuck hired me to work for him as a Ground School Instructor for Bar Harbor Airlines. I had flown for over 30 years by then, but only in the Air Force, no civilian or airline flying. He took a chance on me, gave me full rein, and I ended up working for him for the next several years, until he decided to forgo the chance to be Director of Training for Continental Express. I went on to work for them until age 65. I was sorry Chuck did not go over, too. Hadn't seen him much over the past few years, but thought of him a lot at times. Can't remember all the times I would run into one of our old Bar Harbor pilots when they would ask me, "How's Chuck Snow these days?" Hope he is still "Flying West!" Sincerely, KEN DEAL

Sincere Condolences to my Cousins, Lori and Scott for their loss but also to Chuck's sisters and brother for their loss. Chuck was such a great match for my Aunt Luella and w terrific person to be around. He and my Dad loved to speak of the planes, boats and trains that seemed to surround them near their home. He was certainly a character with my Uncle Swampie, they shared many fun and funny times, I have some good photos to prove it. I so enjoyed stopping and visiting with them both at their home every time I came to Maine, (a place I love), we'd reminisce about our younger years, family we'd lost, genealogy facts so that I could document them and so much more. Every time I'd send them a brief note letting him (them) know I was thinking about them he always write back. Chuck you will be missed greatly. I'll forever remember the O.A.T. Rest in please with your love and say Hi to those there with you.
